  9.              Please note, I am assuming that you have a somewhat
  10.              high level of experience dealing with BBS systems and
  11.              things of the DOS nature. If you do not, PLEASE give
  12.              me a call voice, and I will be more than happy to run
  13.              through the setup with you. If you do have some prior
  14.              knowledge of BBS systems, etc. and you still have
  15.              problems with the BBS, feel free to call me anytime!

  24.                             [ Setting Up The BBS ]
  25.  
  26.                     Since this file should have been the very
  27.                     first thing to attract your attention, this
  28.                     should be the first thing you are reading
  29.                        before attempting to setup Sphynx.
  30.  
  31.           After reading this file, and getting somewhat an idea of how
  32.           the system is setup, you should possibly print this file out
  33.           for reference purposes. Otherwise, use that great photographic
  34.                     memory of yours, and let's get to work!

  36.                               [ Order Of Setup ]
  37.  
  38. (You May Of Done These Already) [1] Create a "SPHYNX" directory on your hard
  39.                                    disk. You may want to call this directory
  40.                                    by another name, but you should use
  41.                                    "SPHYNX" for now.
  42.                                 [2] Unzip the SPHYNX10.ZIP/ARJ file you
  43.                                     downloaded into your SPHYNX directory.
  44.                                     Make sure all files passed CRC check, etc.
  45.                                     If not please contact me and I will provide
  46.                                     you with an authentic version.
  47.                                 [3] Run the "INSTALL.BAT" file from the
  48.                                     SPHYNX directory. This will create the
  49.                                     directories needed for the BBS to run,
  50.                                     and will unzip all the needed text files
  51.                                     into the correct directory.
  52.                                 [4] Follow the instructions provided by the
  53.                                     INSTALL.BAT file. They will guide you
  54.                                     to the path of success...
  55.                                 [5] I STRONGLY suggest that you read the
  56.                                     Sphynx.Doc file included with this
  57.                                     package. It will help you understand and
  58.                                     use this system to it's best abilities.
